I hail from the capital city (Chennai) of Tamil Nadu, India. I did my under graduation in the field of physical education and secured gold medal. I then moved on to complete my masters in library and information science and also pursued Ph.D in the same discipline with the support of Junior Research Fellowship. During my tenure as a research scholar, I have developed a full-fledged e-learning platform for library science students using Moodle. Further, as a librarian and also as an academician, I have published several research papers in various reputed journals which are indexed in IEEE, Ebsco and Scopus. I have also received 2019 Emerald South Asia LIS Research Award for my proposal on analyzing the status of school libraries in India. Hence, I am well versed with research writing and its background. I can analyze literature review, compile trend reports, collect primary and secondary data, design surveys Questionnaire, Interviews etc) do exhaustive statistical analysis both manually and also using tools like SPSS, R and Python). As a library professional, I am familiar with all the subject databases, which helps the users of different discipline to find out the recent trends in their subject areas. I can help college students in writing their term papers, research projects and other educational needs. I can also support research scholars in their literature review, statistical analysis and problem formulation and managing references using tools like Mendeley or Zotero.
Further, for school students, I can support them with subjects like English, computer and Mathematics. Also on languages like English, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi. As a library professional, I am familiar with most of the disciplines in which students can pursue their further studies. Apart from engineering and medicine there are many filed in which one can take up his or her career and I can support them in choosing their career after school education based on their interests.
